Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
    3. Fig 1: Disc Brake Rotor

  3. Remove the front disc brake rotor (1). Refer to Front Brake Rotor Replacement (LLT)  or Front Brake Rotor Replacement (L99, LS3) .

  4. Remove the front brake shield bolts (1).

  5. Remove the front brake shield (1).
