Installation Procedure

- Position the upper control arm (1) in the frame and on the knuckle.
- Install the upper control arm bolt (1) and the nut (2) and tighten to 80 N.m (59 lb ft) plus 120 degrees.
- Install the upper control arm bolt (2) and the nut (1) and tighten to 60 N.m (44 lb ft) plus 90 degrees.
- Install the upper control arm bushing bolt (1) and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) plus 120 degrees.
- Install the rear brake hose on the upper control arm. Refer to Rear Brake Hose Replacement (LLT) or Rear Brake Hose Replacement (LS3, L99) .
- Remove the support from the knuckle.
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Check and adjust the rear wheel alignment, if needed. Refer to Rear Camber Adjustment .
