Windshield Washer Solvent Container Replacement

Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Remove the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement
.
- Disconnect the body front electrical wiring harness connector from the washer pump.
- Disconnect the washer pump hose from the windshield washer nozzle hose at the upper front fender flange.
- Contain any spilled windshield washer solvent from the fender flange area.

Tighten:
15 N.m (11 lb ft)

Windshield Washer Solvent Container Procedure
- Carefully lower and remove the washer container from the front frame rail.
- Transfer parts as required to the new windshield washer solvent container.
- Washer solvent container cap
- Washer pump hose
- Washer container clips
- Washer pump
- Washer pump filter grommet
Tip:
Empty the windshield washer solvent into a clean suitable container once removed from the vehicle. |
