Installation Procedure

  1. Position the engine ground strap to the correct position.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the engine ground strap to electronic brake control module mounting bracket retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  3. Install the engine ground strap to cylinder head ground stud retaining nut (1) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
