Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery positive cable (3) to the engine compartment.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the battery positive cable to the starter and tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the battery positive cable to the engine block and tighten the harness retainer (1) to 12 N.m (9 lb ft).
  6. Tighten the nut/stud (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  8. Install the battery positive cable (2) to the junction block and tighten the retainer (1) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
  9. Attach the junction block cover.
  10. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
  11. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
