Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
  2. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .

  4. Detach the junction block cover.
  5. Remove the junction block retainer (1) and detach the front battery positive cable (2).

  7. Remove the generator nut (1) and detach the front battery positive cable (2) from the generator.

  9. Detach the front battery positive cable (1) from the engine cradle and the right frame rail.

  11. Remove the fuse block cover.
  12. Remove the fuse block retaining nut (1) and remove the front battery positive cable (2).

  14. Remove the front battery positive cable (1) from the engine compartment.
