Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front battery positive cable (1) to the engine compartment.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the front battery positive cable (2) to the fuse block and tighten the nut (1) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Secure the front battery positive cable (1) to the right frame rail and the engine cradle.

  4. Install the front battery positive cable (2) to the junction block and tighten the junction block retainer (1) to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
  5. Attach the battery post and fuse block covers.
  6. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
  7. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
