Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the battery vent tube retainer (1) to the auxiliary battery tray extension panel.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the auxiliary battery tray mounting bolts (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  3. Install the fuse block retaining bolts and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Install the auxiliary battery. Refer to Auxiliary Battery Replacement .
  5. Install the rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Connect the primary negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Primary) , Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Auxiliary) .
