Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Glass and Sheet Metal Handling Warning .

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  6. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  7. Remove the window inner weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement .
  8. Remove the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .
  9. Raise and support the window in the full up position.

  10. Loosen the window regulator to window retaining bolts (1).
  11. Lower the window regulator to separate the window from the clamps.
    12. NOTE:

    With the aid of an assistant hold the window while the support is removed.

  12. Remove the support from the window.

    NOTE:

    Remove the window (1) with the aid of an assistant.

  13. Remove the window (1) by tilting it forward then pulling it up and out of the door (2).
