Installation Procedure
- Install the window (1) down into the door (2).
- Lower the window into the window regulator clamps (1).
- Lower the window.
- Install the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement .
- Start the vehicle to make sure maximum power to the window motor. This is required in order to fully seat the window for adjustment.
- Raise the window to the fully closed position.
- Raise the window to the fully closed position and tighten the nuts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
- Install the window inner weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip Replacement .
- Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
- Install the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
- Install the window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
- Inspect for correct window operation and a tight seal.
- Shut off the vehicle.
- Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement .
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
NOTE:
Install the window (1) with the aid of an assistant.
NOTE:
The window regulator should be approximately 1/2 way down before installing the window (1).
