Installation Procedure

  1. Position the window regulator (2) through the large access hole in the door (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the window regulator to door retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  3. Remove the support from the window.
  4. Lower the window into the window regulator clamps.

  5. Connect the window regulator electrical connector (1).
  6. Start the vehicle to make sure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.
  7. Raise the window to the full up position.

  8. Tighten the window regulator to window glass retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 8 N.m (71 lb in).
  9. Inspect the window for correct operation and a tight seal.
  10. Shut off the vehicle.
  11. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  12. Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement .
  13. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
