Component Testing

Park Switch

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the automatic transmission shift lever.
  2. Test for infinite resistance between terminal 6 and terminal 3 with the switch in the open position.
    • If not the specified value, replace the automatic transmission shift lever.
  3. Test for less than 2 Ω between terminal 6 and terminal 3 with the switch in the closed position.
    • If greater than the specified value, replace the automatic transmission shift lever.
