Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition ON, verify that DTC C0186, C0196, C019B, or C0710 is not set as a present DTC.
  2. Inspect the B99 Steering Wheel Angle Sensor and B119 Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor for correct installation.
    • If loose or incorrect installation is diagnosed, correct the installation of the component.
  3. Verify that DTC C0280 00 is not set as a present DTC.
    • If DTC C0280 00 is present, replace the K17 Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) and verify DTC does not reset. If the DTC resets replace the brake pressure modulator valve assembly.
