Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) pump hose quick connect fitting (1) from the air cleaner housing cover. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  3. Release the spring clamps on top of the air cleaner housing.
  4. Remove the air cleaner housing cover.
  5. Remove the air filter element.
