Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Fig 1: BPMV Nuts

  4. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) nuts (1).

  6. Lift the BPMV assembly (1) upward to disengage the BPMV insulators from the brake pressure modulator valve bracket.

    Support the BPMV assembly with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent.

  8. Remove the BPMV bracket bolts (1).

  10. Remove the BPMV bracket (1).
