Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Multifunction Turn Signal Switch Assembly

NOTE: The electrical contact must rest on the turn signal cancel cam assembly.

Install the multifunction turn signal switch assembly (1) to the steering column assembly.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the 2 pan head tapping screws (1).
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

Install new wire harness straps (2) to the steering column assembly (1) and the column.

Install the upper and lower steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement (Telescoping) or Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement (Manual) .
