Installation Procedure

Position the power steering pump pulley on the end of the power steering pump shaft.
Use the J-25033-C: installer in order to install the power steering pump pulley.

Ensure that the power steering pump pulley (1) is flush against the power steering pump shaft (2), with an allowable variance of 0.25 mm (0.010 in).
Install the drive belt to the power steering pump pulley. Refer to the applicable procedure:
- Drive Belt Replacement for the LU3 engine
- Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory for the L20, LMF, or L96 engines
- Drive Belt Replacement for the LGH engine
- Drive Belt Replacement for the LMM engine
Install the engine coolant fan upper shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, 7.0L) .
