Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator outlet hose clamps to the radiator outlet hose.
    2. Fig 1: Locating Radiator Outlet Hose

  2. Install the radiator outlet hose to the engine.
  3. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the engine using the J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  4. Install the radiator outlet hose to the radiator.
  5. Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp at the radiator using the J 38185  . See Special Tools .
  6. Fill the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7, LZ4, Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LAT Static Fill)  or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LE5 Static Fill) .
