Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement (Impala)

Preliminary Procedures Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement . Remove the air inlet grille panels. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement .
1	Windshield Wiper Module Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure: Tighten bolts in sequence as shown upon installation. Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Windshield Wiper Module Bolt Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Windshield Wiper Module Bolt Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
4	Windshield Washer System Module Assembly Raise the forward edge of the windshield washer module assembly out of the plenum panel first followed by disconnecting the wiper motor electrical connector. Upon installation of the windshield washer module, turn the module 180 degrees, slide the module under the hood and align the rear locator to the backside of the plenum. Tighten the bolts in sequence as shown.
5	Windshield Wiper Motor Connector Tip: Connect the electrical connector to the wiper motor prior to installing the module assembly back into the plenum.
