Preliminary Procedures Loosen the fuel cap in order to relieve the fuel system pressure. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Disconnect the fuel lines. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
1	Fuel Pump Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Fuel Pump Procedure: Disconnect the electrical connector.
