Removal Procedure
- Remove the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LS3, LS7) or Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (LS9) .
- Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.
- Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.

- Disconnect the power steering gear inlet hose (1) from the power steering pump.

- Compress the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose clamp (1).
- Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir inlet hose (2) from the power steering pump.

- Remove the power steering pump bracket bolts (1).
- Remove the power steering pump bracket (2).
- Transfer the power steering pump if necessary. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS3, LS7) or Power Steering Pump Replacement (LS9) .
