Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS7 or LS9) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LS3) Remove the right catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (7.0L)
1	Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 8 N.m (71 lb in)
2	Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
3	Starter Procedure Disconnect the S terminal harness connector from the starter. Orient the B+ terminal Harness anti rotation tab to the starter orientation slot. Remove the B+ terminal harness from the starter.
