Installation Procedure

- Place the power steering pump pulley on the end of the power steering pump shaft.
- Install the power steering pump pulley using J 25033-C
. See Special Tools .

- Ensure that the power steering pump pulley is flush against the power steering pump shaft (2), with an allowable variance of 0.25 mm (0.010 in).
- Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement
for the 4.3L engine, or to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory
, or to Air Conditioning Compressor Belt Replacement
for the 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L engine, or to Drive Belt Replacement
for the 6.6L engine.
- Install the upper fan shroud. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (4.3L, 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, 7.0L)
or Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement (6.6L)
