HVAC Control Module Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Cadillac) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Except Cadillac) . Remove the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement (Except Cadillac) or Accessory Switch Replacement (Cadillac) . Disconnect the electrical connectors.
1	Heater and Air Conditioning Control Assembly Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2	Heater and Air Conditioning Control Assembly Tip: HVAC Control Module must be reprogrammed. Refer to Control Module References .

Remove the instrument panel accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Cadillac) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement (Except Cadillac) .
Remove the accessory switch assembly. Refer to Accessory Switch Replacement (Except Cadillac) or Accessory Switch Replacement (Cadillac) .
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Heater and Air Conditioning Control Assembly Screw (Qty: 2)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
