Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the audio system electrical connectors.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  2. Install the audio system with the screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in)  .

  3. Install the center molding. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Five Door/Wagon) or Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement (Four Door) .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Enter the audio security system 4-digit code. Refer to Radio/Audio System Description and Operation .
