Removal Procedure

  1. Discharge the A/C (Air Conditioning) system, if equipped. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
  4. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement (Gasoline Engines) or Radiator Replacement (Diesel Engine) .
  5. Remove the A/C condenser from the radiator. Refer to Condenser Replacement (Gasoline Engine) or Condenser Replacement (Diesel Engine) .
  6. Remove the charge air cooler from the radiator.
