Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Use care when handling the radiator to prevent fin damage and ensure proper cooling.

  1. Install the charge air cooler to the radiator. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Replacement .
  2. Install the A/C condenser. Refer to Condenser Replacement (Gasoline Engine) or Condenser Replacement (Diesel Engine) .

  3. Install the radiator assembly.
  4. Install the transaxle oil cooler hoses to the radiator.

  5. Install the engine cooling fan. Refer to Engine Cooling Fan Replacement (Gasoline Engines)  or Engine Cooling Fan Replacement (Diesel Engine) .

  6. Install the radiator upper bracket.
    7. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  7. Tighten:  Tighten the radiator upper bracket bolts to 14 N.m (10.3 lb ft)  .

  8. Install the battery and tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (Diesel Engine) .
  9. Recharge the air conditioning system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  10. Fill the cooling system.
  11. Install the beauty cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement .
