Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery tray.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

  2. Install the battery tray lower retaining bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery tray bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft)  .

  3. Install the battery tray upper retaining bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery tray bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in)  .

  4. Install the glow plug control unit.
  5. Install the glow plug fuse block.

  6. Install the ECM. Refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .

  7. Install the engine fuse block.

  8. Install the fuel filter assembly. Refer to Fuel Filter Replacement .

  9. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
