Circuit/System Verification

  1. Engine running, observe the scan tool MAP Sensor parameter. The reading should be between 32-40 kPa.
  2. Cycle the throttle from idle to 2,000 RPM while observing the MAP sensor parameter. The MAP sensor parameter should change. Repeat the procedure as necessary.
  3. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC to verify the DTC does not reset. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
