Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1	Starter Solenoid Terminal Nut NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Positive Battery Cable
3	Starter Solenoid "S" Terminal Nut Tighten: 3 N.m (27 lb in)
4	Engine Harness Terminal
5	Engine Harness Terminal
6	Starter Motor Bolt (Qty: 2) Tighten: 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
