Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
  2. Remove the BPMV bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement .
  3. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement .
  4. Remove the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement .
  5. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet pipe/hose from the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement .
  6. Remove the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pressure Pipe/Hose Replacement .

  7. Remove the power steering pump mounting bolts (3) from the power steering pump (2).
  8. Remove the following components from the power steering pump rear bracket (1):
    • The power steering pump front bracket (3)
    • The power steering pump (2)
