Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Servicing Electrical Components Caution .

Place the folding top with the #1 bow and #5 bow in the up position.
Open the rear compartment.
Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (6.0L) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (7.0L) .
Remove the rear compartment side carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Rear Center Trim Panel Carpet Replacement .

Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the folding top control module (2).
Remove the control module by lifting up to release the hook and loop fastener.
