Installation Procedure

  1. Install the heat shield.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the heat shield bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the heat shield retainer bolt to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the exhaust system, as necessary.
  4. Remove the safety stands and lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
