Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the body side window hinge screw (3) to the window (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw (3) to 1.6 N.m (1.4 lb in).

  2. Install the body side window to the body side opening.
  3. Install the body side window hinge nuts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Secure the window hinge to the actuator arm.
  5. Connect the electrical connector (4) to the power window actuator (5).
  6. Inspect the body side window for proper operation.
  7. Close the body side window.
  8. Remove the masking tape from around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and inner trim of the window.
  9. Install the rear corner upper finish panel. Refer to Upper Rear Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
  10. Install the body side rear upper finish panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
