NOTE:
DO NOT apply paint or clear coat to the antenna. This will damage the function of the antenna, causing poor reception or loss of signal reception. Procedure: Disconnect the antenna connectors. Tip: The retainer, located on the shaft of the radio antenna, was designed for assembly plant operations to retain the digital antenna to the roof before the bolt is installed. If the retainer on the radio antenna is broken or damaged during service of the antenna, the antenna will still operate as designed and should be reused. |
