NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .Preliminary Procedure: IMPORTANT: Drain only the fluid from the radiator surge tank. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE-47716) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.4L LE5 Only) .
1	Radiator Surge Tank Cap Assembly
2	Radiator Surge Tank Retainer
3	Radiator Surge Tank Nut Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
4	Radiator Surge Tank Assembly Tip: Using J 38185 position radiator surge tank hose clamps aside and remove hoses from the radiator surge tank. See Special Tools .
