Fuel Pressure Relief: Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPO LS4) .
  2. Loosen the fuel fill cap to relieve tank vapor pressure.
  3. Install the CH-48027  . Refer to Fuel Pressure Gage Installation and Removal .
  4. Once the system pressure is completely relieved, remove the CH-48027  . Refer to Fuel Pressure Gage Installation and Removal .
  5. Tighten the fuel fill cap.
