Installation Procedure

  1. Install the generator bracket.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the generator bracket bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the generator bracket bolts in the sequence shown to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the drive belt tensioner. DRIVE BELT TENSIONER REPLACEMENT in Engine Mechanical-3.5L.
  4. Install the generator. Generator Replacement (LX9) .
