Circuit/System Testing

  1. Check to see if the PPS was replaced. Verify the correct PPS was installed.
    • If the wrong PPS was installed, replace with the correct PPS.
  2. Check to see if the SDM was replaced. Verify the correct SDM was installed.
    • If the wrong SDM was installed, replace with the correct SDM.
  3. Check to see if DTC B1001 is set. Verify DTC B1001 is not set.
  4. Replace the PPS. With the ignition ON, use the scan tool to clear the DTCs then recheck for DTC B0098. Verify DTC B0098 does not set.
    • If DTC B0098 resets then replace the SDM.
