Installation Procedure

Install the NEW exhaust gasket (1) on the catalytic convertor (2).
Position the catalytic convertor (2) on the exhaust manifold.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
Install the mounting nuts (3) for the catalytic convertor.
Tighten: Tighten the mounting nuts (3) to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
Install the oxygen sensors.
- For Bank 2, sensor 1, refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Replacement Bank 2 Sensor 1 for the 6.0L engine.
- For Bank 2, sensor 1, refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Replacement Bank 2 Sensor 1 for the 7.0L engine.
- For Bank 2, sensor 2, refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Replacement Bank 2 Sensor 2 for the 6.0L engine.
- For Bank 2, sensor 2, refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Replacement Bank 2 Sensor 2 for the 7.0L engine.
Install the intermediate pipes. Refer to Intermediate Pipe Replacement .
Lower the vehicle.
