Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center molding. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Four Door) or Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Five Door/Wagon) in Instrument Panel, gages and Console.
  3. Remove the screws and the audio system.
  4. Disconnect the audio system electrical connectors.
