Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center molding. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Four Door) or Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Center (Five Door/Wagon) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  4. Disconnect the mode control cable from the mode door.
  5. Disconnect the temperature control cable eyelet from the post on the controller.
  6. Pry off the clip of the temperature control cable.

  8. Slide the cable eyelet off the post on the temperature door lever.
  9. Pry off the clip of the temperature cable.
