Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Protect the applique with heavy material tape in order to avoid damaging the underlying paint finish or applique. Do not use a pointed or a sharp instrument for the removal of the applique.
  1. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER .
    2. Fig 1: Removing Screws

  2. Remove the weather seal around the window frame.
  3. Remove the screws (1).
  4. Remove the frame applique from the front door.
  5. Inspect the nylon anchors (2) to ensure proper anchoring of the screws.
