Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
    IMPORTANT: Engine coolant must be drained below the level of the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
  2. Disconnect the ECT sensor harness connector.
  3. Remove the ECT (1).
