Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air filter housing (2.5L).

  3. Disconnect the park/neutral position switch electrical connector.
  4. Disconnect the shift control cable and the retaining clip

  5. Remove the shift lever nut and the shift lever.

  6. Remove the park/neutral start switch.
