Installation Procedure

  1. Install the inflator module wiring harness (3) to the driver seat frame, while guiding the wiring harness through the appropriate spots on the driver seat frame.
  2. Install the wiring harness retaining clips to the driver seat frame.

  3. Install the plastic molding (2) that holds the air bag inflator module to the driver seat back frame.
  4. Install the air bag inflator module (1) to the driver seat back frame.
  5. Install the seat back cover. Refer to Seat Back Cover Replacement - Front in Seats.
  6. Install the driver seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  7. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 .
