Installation Procedure

  1. Position the sunroof motor to the sunroof module.
  2. Push the sunroof motor straight upward to engage the drive gear between the cables housed within the sunroof cable drive tubes.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the sunroof actuator screws to the sunroof actuator.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the sunroof motor.
  5. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Sedan) or Headliner Replacement (Extended Sedan) in Interior Trim.
  6. Initialize/teach the sunroof motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initilization/Teach Process (New Motor)  or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initilization/Teach Process (Existing Motor) .
  7. Inspect the sunroof for proper operation.
