Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the interior liftgate trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Lower)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Upper)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Right or Left) .
  3. Disconnect the liftgate switch.
  4. Remove the applique retaining screws.
  5. Beginning at either side of the applique, gently pull the applique. Remove the applique from the liftgate.
