Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
  3. Remove the inside handle rod (3) by removing the rivet (5) from the inside door handle (1). Refer to Door Handle Replacement - Front Inside .
  4. Remove the front door lock (4). Refer to Lock Replacement - Front Door .
  5. Unclip the handle rod retainer (2). Remove the front door inside handle rod from the door lock.
