Installation Procedure

  1. Position the applique to the slots in the liftgate. Push to install the applique.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the applique retaining screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the liftgate switch.
  4. Install the interior liftgate trim panels. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Lower)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Upper)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate (Right or Left) .
  5. Close the liftgate.
